Fixed Wheel Brewery Spring Beer Festival
It’s almost time for our first beer festival of the year! Seems like only yesterday that we were getting things ready for our Winter beer fest and now here we are, middle of April just DAYS away from our next.
It’s all hands on deck here at the brewery at the moment, we’re all busy getting the place ready for Thursday evening when the doors will open at 4 pm for our 4 days of absolute beer madness.
From the 18th – 21st April we will have a whole load of amazing beers brewed both locally and further afield, that we can’t wait to also get our hands on ourselves! We’re also going to have a huge selection of our very own Fixed Wheel beers in both keg and cask including our VERY LAST barrel of Super Tuck Brut IPA 6.4% ABV that you’ll have previously had the pleasure of trying in keg, only this time you can catch it here in cask! I don’t think that one will be hanging about for too long.
Music & food
That’s not all! We’ll also have live music & freshly cooked delicious street food snacks throughout the 4 days of the fest.
First up on Friday 19th we’ve got Disco fries catering who’ll be serving up their showstopping fresh fries topped with a whole concoction of toppings from 12 pm till 5 pm.
Then on Saturday 20th, we’ll have Little Urban BBQ who’ll be serving up a whole range of succulent treats from 12 pm – 5 pm. Then finishing off the fest on the Easter Sunday Little Urban BBQ will return bringing you even more mouthwateringly delicious treats from 12 pm – 5 pm.
The Shambolics will be returning to The Fixed Wheel Brewery this Easter weekend, playing a wide range of songs from the Blues, Country and Rock “n” Roll genres. The 7 piece band will be kicking things off from 7:30pm till 10pm. It’s always a great evening with these guys so make sure you get down early.
On Saturday evening we’ll have The Madi Stimpson Quartet joining us from 7:30pm. Bringing you a mix of gypsy, jazz, bluegrass and a whole load of folk roots styled music. The quartet features Madi Stimpson, Ken Moore, Geoff Walker and Andy Wood. All exceptional musicians this is surely not going to be a night to miss!
